As a 501(c)3 non-profit, we would not be able to continue the life-saving work for our community's wildlife without your help! Our staff will be pleased to share their knowledge in the field of wildlife rehabilitation with you, as you embark on this journey of discovery. In return, we expect to integrate your skills, hard work, and dedication into the furtherance of Treasure Coast Wildlife Center's mission to help rehabilitate and return as many wild animals to their natural habitat as possible. Together, we can make South Florida a better place for both people and animals to live.

Ways you can make a difference include:

  • Participating in fundraising efforts

Interviews are required and we ask that you can make at least a 6 month commitment.

Internships

Interested in a wildlife career? We welcome college students and post-graduates of no more than four years to apply for our unpaid educational internships! Animal Care interns at Treasure Coast Wildlife will work with a variety of different orphaned, sick, or injured wildlife. Our offers a large amount of direct animal contact with opportunities to feed and care for our animals, with a capstone project. Administrative interns will be provided the opportunity to learn non-profit management, clerical skills, office operations, fund-management, event planning, and more.  Interns in the past have found TCWC to be one of their most rewarding college experiences - truly preparing them for jobs in this field.
