Wildlife patients:
We are unable to receive patients outside of business hours. Our gate is open for sick, injured, or orphaned wild patients 7 days a week. We may occasionally close during other hours, for extraordinary circumstances, or shorten hours for holidays.
Please keep patients warm, dark and quiet overnight. A cardboard box is excellent for most animals. Also, while you may offer (do NOT force) water, please do not feed the animal. Improper diets are more dangerous than lack of food. Bring the animal to us at your first opportunity during business hours. Click here to download complete instructions in PDF format.
In Martin County, the Sheriff's Animal Services division is available at all hours, and is extremely helpful to us in arranging transport of wildlife in need of help. If the wildlife emergency is in Martin County, you may call the Sheriff's office at 772-287-1656 and choose menu selection 1.

We are pleased to be able to give you a small glimpse into the functioning of your Wildlife Center. We hope you will see some old friends here, and perhaps make new ones as well. Our resident Educational Ambassadors await you. While our patients on the other hand must remain private and out of public view, for their protection. So while we invite you to look around and enjoy yourselves, we ask your understanding and cooperation.
Note that this is a hospital facility. We are focused on animal care. In the future, we look forward to sharing our new Nature Center being built next door, with you!
